The Lexus IS F-Sport 2010
Lexus is having a play with its IS for 2010. But best not to get too excited – the changes are not immense, although the introduction of the 2010 Lexus IS F-Sport does add a couple of nice cosmetic bits to the mix. Biggest news is the addition of the F-Sport model, which fits in between the IS SE-I and IS SE-L Models.
Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid
Volkswagen has revealed the VW Jetta Hybrid at the Detroit Auto Show, with a 1.4 litre turbo and electric motor promising 54mpg and 168bhp. VW has revealed the Jetta Hybrid at the Detroit Motor Show which will, if nothing else, show the Americans that a small capacity – in thyis case a 1.4 litre TSI engine – can offer not just decent economy but also some reasonable performance. With the aid of a 20kW electric motor the Jetta Hybrid can muster 168bhp and scoot ro 60mph in around 9 seconds, but still offer 54mpg.
Audi is hinting at a performance flagship iteration of its entry-level Q3 soft-roader with this: the RS Q3 concept. It's only a design study for now, but the spec is very close to being production-ready... What makes this Audi Q3 worthy of an RS badge? Largely the same application of ingredients that Audi has favoured with the RS5 and RS3.
